Guidelines for advertisers
Taking out an advert in Village News is an effective way of reaching more than 600 households in the three parishes.
Our advertisers often tell us that much of their business is generated through their Village News adverts, and for some we are the only publication they advertise in!
Requests for advertising space can be sent at any time to:
Classified adverts (3 lines - approx. 30 words) cost £3 a month
Display (A7) adverts cost £6 a month, minimum booking 3 months (except back and inside cover ads which are bookable for a minimum of 12 months)
Half-page (A6), one-off, business adverts can be considered and cost £12.
Advertising is subject to availability and our policy is payment before publication.
EVENT ADS that require a display box, images and layout, which take longer to create than normal text, should be submitted at the latest on the Friday BEFORE the normal deadline (which is always a Tuesday), preferably sooner. This allows time to check any details with you and make any changes needed, which is not possible after the main deadline.
TECHNICAL NOTES: the main monthly magazine is printed in greyscale, there is no colour, but you can submit colour photographs and artwork and we will convert them.
